No prior or current elected office
Williamson was born and raised in Houston. After high school, she spent two years studying theater and philosophy at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. Williamson is a co-founder of the Peace Alliance, a nonprofit grass-roots education and advocacy organization supporting peace-building projects. She is also the founder of Project Angel Food, a volunteer food delivery program that serves homebound people with AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.
